The Power of Advocacy Through News

The creation of SW Nova News stemmed from the West Nova Chamber of Commerce’s need to restructure and focus on its core strength: advocacy. We believe there’s no better way to advocate for our community than by providing a platform for news and topics relevant to all of SW Nova. After all, as the saying goes, “the pen is mightier than the sword.”

Building a Secure and Open Platform

To ensure a safe space for discussion, we opted for a dedicated Facebook group. This allows us to control the platform and avoid the risk of being blocked by admins on other pages.

Clear Rules for a Respectful Community

We’ve established a clear set of rules that you can find here: Link to group rules. As long as you follow them – be kind, respectful, truthful, and thoughtful – you’re welcome to participate, even if your views differ from ours. https://www.facebook.com/groups/southwestnovanews
