Note: WNCC is under reorganization and reconstruction. Announcements to come January 1, 2025
The following text is work in progress…. more editing to come.
At the West Nova Chamber of Commerce, we’re dedicated to driving economic prosperity and fostering a thriving community in South West Nova. With a rich history and a vibrant present, our region is filled with potential, and we’re here to help unlock it by advocating for the best interests for our region.
Our Area
Southwest Nova has historically been considered to be the 5 Counties of Digby, Yarmouth, Shelburne, Queens & Lunenburg. However, considering the issues affecting the Bay of Fundy, the local fishery, infrastructure and funding – We consider a broader area in the Southern part of Nova Scotia is more appropriate. According to geographical lines and the Elections Nova Scotia Map – Kings County and Hants East should also be included in our opinion
Our Mission:
Uniting South West Nova by working for a stronger, more prosperous and sustainable future for us all.
Championing the interests of West Nova businesses and communities by advocating for policies, infrastructure, and initiatives that foster economic growth, environmental sustainability, and social well-being.
To attract residents of SW Nova to join us as members under the proven history of “Together we stand! Divided we fall” For far too long South West Nova has been divided and and largely ignored by our government.
A Vision for a Brighter Future
Our vision is to continue to be a catalyst for economic prosperity in South West Nova Scotia. We are recognized as a key player in the region, driving positive change and growth. We see our numbers growing across South West Nova Scotia. There is strength in numbers.
Why Choose West Nova Chamber of Commerce?
- Advocacy: Our WNCC strength is in Advocacy. We advocate for policies and initiatives that benefit our members and the community as a whole, ensuring a supportive environment for businesses to flourish.
- Strength in Numbers: The more people who become members of WNCC, the greater our influence in bringing positive Change to South West Nova.
